Art Spot Summer Camps with The Frosted Flamingo

• June 9-13, Monday-Friday, 12:30pm-4:30pm
• June 23-27, Monday-Friday, 12:30pm-4:30pm
• July 28th-August 1, Monday-Friday, 9:30am-12:30pm (reduced cost)
• August 11-1, Monday-Friday, 12:30pm-4:30pm

• NEW THIS YEAR: We are partnering with The PlayGarten to offer a combination of camps so you can plan for a full day of camp fun! The PlayGarten camps will run from 8:30am-12:30pm during the same weeks as afternoon Art Spot camps. Please check The Playgarten website for more details coming soon!
• Cancellation policy: if you need to cancel, we will refund 100% of the full payment until April 1st. We will refund 50% of the full payment until May 1st. After May 1st, we will not provide any refund.

Daily Schedule

• 12:30-1pm: camper drop off/games/free craft
• 1pm: morning circle (read aloud, plan for the day, idea share)
• 1:15pm: art activity
• 2:15pm: snack/break
• 2:45pm: continue art projects
• 3:45: clean up
• 4-4:30pm: camper pick up/outdoor water-play/games

*July 28th camp will run as follows: 9:30-9:45am: games/welcome; 9:45-10:45am: art activity, 10:45-11am: optional snack break, 11-12pm: continue art activity; 12-12:30pm: clean up and closing games/activities. 

Daily Art Activities

Monday: Painting and Mixed Media

After children have the opportunity to explore different art mediums, they can choose between watercolor, acrylic paints, or collage to create a finished piece.

Tuesday: Beaded Jewelry

Children can create multiple beaded creations on this day: bracelets, necklaces, keychains, earrings and more! The Frosted Flamingo will provide a wide range of beads and hardware for inventive designs.

Wednesday: Printmaking

On this day, children will learn and practice beginner printmaking techniques without the use of carving tools.

Thursday: Sculpture 

In this class, students will experiment with multiple techniques and materials to construct and decorate sculptural pieces.

Friday: Choose Your Own Adventure!

Students’ choice! On this day, children can revisit and repeat any of the projects from earlier in the week.
